Hey it is summertime!
Hey it is summertime! It’s time to take a break from a lot of the regular stuff that you do everyday. Youth Group is taking a break, sort of, for the summer. We are going to have lots of great stuff going on, but a little different from what we do most of the rest of the year. So take a couple minutes are check this stuff out and then plan to be with us as much as you can this summer.
| Middle School Summer Starts with V.B.S. June 22-26
Summer starts with V.B.S., June 22-26. Come to the church every morning from 9 till noon for some huge fun and some good times. Everyday there will be some super crazy games, food, music, 4 square, skits, videos, prizes, contests, and lessons about being heroes for God. On Thursday we’ll be going to Water Country to play in the best water park in all of New England. Sign up now to save your spot. All week of V.B.S. is just $15 and the trip to Water Country including the bus ride is $35.
| Middle School Sand Castle and Beach Night
Sand Castle Contest and a Night at the Beach. On Wednesday, July 1 we are going to Crane’s Beach for a little sand castle building competition and to have some big fun on the sand and in the water. Meet at church at 6:00 p.m. and we’ll be back by 8:30. Make sure and bring your beach stuff! There’ll even be prizes for the coolest castles.
| High School Beach Night
Sunday, July 5…time to get back to the beach. Meet us at church at 6:00 p.m. and we’re headed out to the sand and fun.
| Jay Gees!!
Jay Gees go-karts, ice cream, mini-golf, batting cages, and video games!! On Wednesday, July 8 we’re going to Jay Gees for what just might possibly be the single best night of the whole summer. Awesome go-karts, amazing slick track, huge ice cream, video games, mini-golf…Jay Gees is so much fun! $20 will get you started doing some of everything, but you will want to bring more money if you are able. We’ll be leaving the church right at 6:00 p.m. and returning at 11:00. Don’t miss Jay Gees!
| Middle School Capture the Flag and Ice Cream
On Wednesday, July 22, Meet at church at 6:00 p.m., bring some $$ for ice cream and bring your fast shoes cause we’re going to play a great game of Capture the Flag and then cool down with some cool treats. We’ll plan to be back to the church at 8:30.
| High School "Regular" Youth Groups
We've got a couple of "Regular" Youth Group nights coming up on Sunday July 19, Sunday, July 26 and Sunday, August 9. Meet us at church at 6:30 for some volleyball, food, music, a thought to live by from God's Word and the chance to see a bunch of your friends.
| Friday night at the Lowell Spinners
On Friday, August 7 we’re going to catch a Lowell Spinners baseball game. A ticket costs you just $5. Space is tight because the game is sold out, so reserve your ticket now with Jon and don’t miss this night of huge fun. We’ll leave the church at 5:45 and return around 11:00.
| Soul Fest is July 29- August 2
Soul Fest is coming up soon and you will want to be there. 100 band, 10,000 people, camping, awesome food including bagels cooked in the bacon grease, chair lift rides, mattress surfing if it rains and concerts from Third Day, Pillar Skillet, Day of Fire, Sanctus Real, The Afters, The Newsboys and lots lots more. Get all the event info at thesoulfest.com and then sign up with us to save your spot. The sooner you sign up the more money you save as tickets go up each month.
| A middle school night at Captn. Dustys and Singing Beach
On Wednesday August 12 we are traveling over to Manchester by the Sea to play on the beach and get some great ice cream. Meet at church at 6:00 p.m. with your beach stuff and some ice cream money, and we’ll be back to church at 8:45.
| August 15-22 is Deerwander
Deerwander is coming back! Deerwander is August 15-22. Deerwander is separate middle and high school camps designed to be the best week of your summer. Deerwander is clan competitions, skits, great games, great friends, food, hanging out, swimming, other cool water stuff and lots lots more. Excellent Bible teachers will be with us all week to communicate God's word to us about issues that matter and affect our daily lives. Get signed up now to save your spot!
